The Workflow

How Verisite Works

A scan-first workflow designed around the realities of industrial environments — including spotty connectivity.

Tag the Location
Affix a QR code or antimetal NFC tag (NTAG215) to any location — rack, cabinet, control panel, MCC, or machine. Sub-tags can be applied to individual devices within a location.

Scan & Check Out
Field technicians scan the tag with the mobile app. The app queries the server, pulls the location record, and locks it for that user. If connectivity is unavailable, check out in advance before heading to the site.

Work & Document
Complete the task, update device records, attach photos, video, audio notes, or reference drawings. All changes are stored on-device until check-in — no connectivity required in the field.

Check In & Review
Check in the record when connectivity is available. Administrators review completed work, approve or reject with notes, and trigger notifications to the field user. The location is unlocked for the next task.
Platform Features

Everything You Need

Verisite combines asset registry, project management, and field operations into a single platform.

QR & NFC Scanning
Scan location and device identifiers from the mobile app. Both QR codes and antimetal NFC tags (NTAG215) are supported for control panel environments where metal interference is common.
Offline-First Mobile
Check out location records before heading to a site with limited connectivity. All work is stored on-device and synced when a connection is available. Available for iOS and Android.
Check-Out / Check-In Locking
Location records are locked to the user who checks them out, preventing conflicting edits. Administrators can view all checked-out records and force release if needed.
Full Document Attachment
Attach electrical schematics, panel layout drawings, P&IDs, photos, video, audio recordings, BOMs, invoices, purchase orders, and free-form notes to any location or device record.
Task Assignment & Approval
Project managers assign tasks to individual users or open pools. Set completion deadlines, track progress, and approve or reject completed work with notes. Notifications push to field devices.
PM Dashboard & Reporting
Gantt chart view, efficiency reports by user, first-time approval scoring, export to CSV or MS Project. Search any field, build complex multi-condition queries, and track all active tasks in real time.
